Visit Greece Campaign

As Art Director for the VISIT GREECE campaign, I developed a visual identity that captures the country’s timeless allure through fresh, modern design. Drawing inspiration from Greek antiquity, the Aegean coastline, and cultural symbols like the evil eye (μάτι), I crafted a campaign that feels both iconic and inviting. The logo—a minimalist eye outline—embodies the idea of seeing Greece anew, while bold, sun-soaked visuals and playful, beach-inspired taglines bring the spirit of the Mediterranean to life. Through a mix of print and digital assets, this campaign transforms Greece’s legendary landscapes into an open invitation for travelers worldwide.

The eye symbol in the VISIT GREECE (Not All Blues are the Same) campaign is a direct nod to Greece’s deep cultural and historical roots. Inspired by ancient Greek art, mythology, and the iconic “evil eye” (μάτι)—a symbol of protection and good fortune—the design reflects both Greece’s storied past and its vibrant present. The simplicity of the stroke outline evokes classical minimalism while remaining modern and versatile, much like Greece herself: a timeless destination where history and beauty seamlessly intertwine. This visual icon not only honors tradition but also invites travelers to see Greece with fresh eyes, embracing its landscapes, legends, and luminous blue horizons.
